Casi McLeod, DMD

Committed to excellence, Dr. Casi McLeod combines artistry, cutting-edge technology, and a caring approach to provide the highest-quality dental care to the Broken Bow community.

Growing up on a farm in Elm Creek instilled in her a strong work ethic. After earning her degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in Arizona. But the pull of home, family, and those Nebraska values brought her back.

Dr. McLeod's calling to serve people of all ages became apparent during dental school. It was there that she realized each age group brings its own unique experiences and joys. The personal reward of building those relationships is why she loves practicing in a small town like Broken Bow. "The tight-knit community, the friendly faces, the values of honesty and integrity—it all resonates with me. I love that I get to care for entire families here."

What makes her day? "It's about seeing patients smile, educating them about their oral health, and helping them overcome any concerns,” she says.

Rooted in her Nebraska upbringing, Dr. McLeod values family and community. When she's not at Broken Bow Dental, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their son, Cormac. You can often find her cheering on the Huskers, escaping into a good book, or planning their next travel adventure.

Shawnda Eggleston, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Growing up in nearby Merna, Shawnda has built a life grounded in hard work and community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln in 1997, and after starting a family, Shawnda and her husband returned to the family ranch in 2000. “We are the proud parents of four children, Colten, Caitlyn, Zane, and Ivy, and we’re happy to have daughter-in-law, Kylie, joining the family.”

As a dental hygienist, Shawnda helps our team provide compassionate care and enjoys educating patients—and building relationships with them—to support better oral health. Outside the office, she loves relaxing by the lake, traveling with family and friends, and staying active as an avid runner and hiker.

Kari Spanel

Dental Assistant

Kari has always known she wanted to work in dentistry. “I enjoy helping people, and it’s rewarding to see our patients feel confident in their smiles,” she says. Raised on a ranch south of Kilgore, Kari met her husband, Ira, while attending college in Lincoln. The couple returned to Broken Bow after marrying in 2011 and are now raising their three children—sons Easton and Elliot, and daughter Sunni Jo.

Kari enjoys riding horses and barrel racing, and she often travels to rodeos and sporting events with her family. A true animal lover, she also cares for a lively mix of horses, dogs, and cats. 

Dalila Griffiths

Dental Assistant

As a Broken Bow native and graduate of Broken Bow Public Schools, Dalila has a lifelong connection to our community. That connection, paired with her passion for dentistry, led her to Broken Bow Dental, where she values the supportive team culture and positive environment.

Dalila is inspired by Dr. Casi’s commitment to exceptional care and is proud to contribute to a practice focused on patient comfort, trust, and quality. “Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, I've developed a keen understanding of patient care and the importance of creating a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere,” she says. Whether assisting during procedures or managing details behind the scenes, Dalila does it all with a friendly smile.
